Summer camp was great!! My first camp here in Perth, in fact the first in my whole stay here in Ozi land :) It was at Camp Wattle Grove and the first impression the site gave was an Australian kampung (village). It gets super hot in the afternoon and super cold in the mornings. The place really reminds me of Lawas! It gets pretty hot sometimes but most of the time, we gathered in an airconditioned hall so it was great! :P Din feel much of the heat and all. There were pretty flowers as well :) (somehow i just love taking pictures of flowers) 
And the Curtin spidermans, batmans and supermans :P
There were a lot of new faces that Ive never really known and it was great to meet people form other campuses :) Aunty Carol was definitely one dat stood out among the crowd. She's da second one on da right btw :P She's just soo amazing. Being in her peak of her career back in Singapore as a pediatric sergeon, she was willing to let go of it and answer God's caling by just coming to Perth. She always knew God wanted her to go somewher but she never knew when and where. Somehow God lead her to student ministry and to us :) She's such a blessing and encouragement to have!! She said that she see that something great is gonna happen in OCF and she still doesnt know what but asks us not to give up.
Jill slept with us and she's just sooo cute :) Hehee A future vet as well :P Well, very brave girl indeed. She's gonna shave her hair for the Luekimia foundation soon :) *Admires admires* Oh yeah, we just woke up in this pic by the way. Very reluctantly, we climbed outa bed at 7.45 this morning :P It was freeezing then and my sleeping bag really really came in handy! No regrets~

They are part of my roomies for the 2nd day!! 4 people in a 2 people room but we had fun squeezing alright :) Yes, Wen Hui came along and it was great!! Hope she enjoyed herself and got to get her mind off things~ I was very touched by her sharing when she said she found peace in the songs.
Let me share some stuff Cheryl shared. Have u ever wondered why there's this part of u in ur heart that feels so empty? Its like just this spot that can't really be filled by anything u get ur hands on. It may be filled with momentary happiness but till the end of the day its still empty. Wel, its a good thing cos ur not the only one and I believe we humans are created that way for a reason. I believe the answer to that question wud be Jesus. N i believe it wud be his unchanging love for us that's gonna fill that hole in us. Really, it works :) Nothing feels better when u have a hope to rely on even when troubles seem big n uncontrolable. :P
In da camp, we watched this clip called indescribable and it was just amazing! Pictures from NASA showing how our universe is from few billion lightyears away just left me in awe. The preacher was right. We are just such tiny lil things compared to the vast universe we live in and its just incredible how all these pictures are just reflecting how awesome a God we have tht created all these :) Eah image, that astronomers spend hours n hours to get, just shouts back at us saying how great a creator we have!

Food through out camp was good! Dats wad our brekky looked like. We had lik pasta for lunch and BBQ dinner with sausages and beef and stuff :P Yumm
Speaking of food, look what i found!!!! Yes, i had the taste of Mee Kolok in my mouth during lunch today! Tho it wasnt the best ever, the fact that Perth had it was already pretty cool in itself. :P Summore got chilli potong! Hahaa Me feeling hungry~
