Fun vs scary

Art in da city
Missed the bus so decided to walk till the bus came. I reached this bus stop where they were two Aboriginal guys sitting ther waiting. They asked me the time so I told them and one asked me to come and sit down with them.

Getting a bit scared as both had like beer bottles in their hand, I gave an excuse saying I'll just stand where I was in the shade. He kept on insisting so in the end I did.

They were friendly and just kept talking to me, half I couldn catch cos of da accents. All I could do was smile and laugh as the conversation went on.

"Do you like it here?" They asked.

"It's alright."

"We dun like it here. We dun like the whites, they are too many of them here" they uttered.

It was pretty cool in a sense that doing ELACS (Australian studies) me understood why they would say that. Having people coming into ur land and taking over wasnt at all fun i believe.

"Make sure you make it home safe." were the words that made me feel a wee bit more comfortable talkin with em.

The bus finally reached wher I got off and i did. They headed off to the train station to get to their friend's place for a Birthday party. Well, its all good :)

Wanna know wad's better. Here's the highlight of the day. Tadaaaaa ~

It all started off as a joke of us buying the Durian we saw in Northbridge :) When Raymond n I saw the $3/ kilo tag, it became reality! Heheee We actually BOUGHT durian, IN PERTH - our very first!

It was kept frozen at the store so it woudn't stink and make everyone pengsan (faint). But who cares, stink or not it still was durian and Raymond n I were happee people alright :) Hehee Went to his place and he started workin on da durian. :) *Psst realize what knife he's using?

Nevertheless, he managed to open it n I had my durian and I was a happee lil gurl :) It was just soooo yummy man. So worth wad we paid for lo - thin skin and thick flesh. Yummmmeee :P

We had better not start buying Durians every week here! Tsk tsk

Signin off : Satisfied~
