Guess who?

This time back, a new shop catches our eyes in China World Hotel, Beijing.

The first Jimmy Choo shop in Beijing!! :P

Jimmy Choo is one of the most well-known shoe designer in the world. And what's cooler? He's Malaysian, a Penangian :)

They just had their grand opening on the 24th of April and we wet there and had a peek after dinner that night. Lots of people there but too bad none of us knew how he looked like or else we could play spot Mr Choo!!

Intended to search his pic online beforehand but kinda forgot to do so. Anyways, had this grand plan of snapping pics away and see whether I can match it with his actual pic online but...the place and setiing was just too posh that I'd just look like a complete sakai if i did. Too bads :P

Here's a pic we snapped when the sales girl wasnt looking :) Tsk tsk

I'm loving it.. Yeah~

It feels great to be home!! I can make as much noise as I want, lie on the couch as I want, eat whatever is in sight, jump up and down like a monkey.. It just feels GOOD man!!! Although I'm like 5 hours flight away from my actual hometown, I dun have to sit in my room alone and make sure I'm not making too much noise + not come back too late. Staying in Olympic city and having mummy and daddy around just tops it :)

Shopping + food + tv is all I've been up to lately. How piggyful of me ")

Anyways, did you know there's now 8 wonders of the world instead of 7? It's okie, I never knew as well, untill the 8th one just left me in awe at the sight of it! A wonder indeed!! :)

Many graves were built there but no one had actually seen it. It was a group of local farmers digging for a well when they came across the national treasure of China, the 8th wonder of the world. Here it is :

-Terra Cotta-
兵马俑

Life size warriors and horses filled the whole dorm, a whole army to rule the afterlife of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China.

It was such a wow to see. Thousands of soldiers, stood in rows, not one alike from the other.

When they're first escavated, they look like these.

But after much mending, they look as good as new :)

Some are erm still kinda headless :)

That's all for the 8th wonder of the world. More to come for my China trip! Suppose to be snoozing dy. Waking up early for more shopping! Lols

When its real

Forwarded mails never really seem to bother me. They are literally heaps lying around in my inbox (trust me) and they can be pretty useful to kill boredom. Im sure many of you would have recieved those that tell you stories about a sick baby or person and asks you to forward it so that they can earn 4 cents.

I've always questioned whether they are true.

The whole story changes when you open a forwarded mail and read about someone you know, someone you seen and someone you actually talked to before.

The mail itself:

To all our dearest family members, relatives, friends and strangerfriends who would like to help out.My brother, David Lee Seng Kieong, aged 48 was recently diagnosed with afatal liver illness, Hepatocellular Cancer. Uncle David is one of the church leaders in my church whom I saw week after week back home and it was a schock to hear about this. In fact, the very picture of my blog title is a picture of his son.

Till now, one thing's for sure :

God is in control

And it's great to know so.

Please remember Uncle David and his family in prayer.

Kill Em' All

It came to me as a shock when I heard about the shooting in KLIA. In fact, I didn't really believe it when cos told me about it. Maybe cos I was half asleep and it just sounded too impossible for such a thing to happen in Malaysia.

I'm not sure whether they cover up the story in Msia or not but RM3.3 million were stolen by armed robbers and 6 people were wounded.

"Kill em' all!!" shouted one of the robbers in Tamil.

It's quite scary, in the sense that such things are usually stories that we hear about and not something thats happening to our own country, especially in the airport! According to the news, the whole thing was thought of as a planned crime and in my opinion, it was pretty smart of them to target the airport, a place where lots of cash flow occurs.

Anyways, its really a sigh of relieve that Im flying Singapore Airlines tomorrow :) My usual route would be transitting at KLIA and flying off China. Scarreeee.. The thought of it gives me chill. I woudn't wanna be there with all these shooting happening. No ways!

Click here to read more about the shooting.

Alrighties, time for me to snooze and later on start packin when I do wake up! Hahaa :)
