You see, to her, it wasn't just an ordinary someone
She could tell it was someone who genuinely cared
It was not that he had to
it was not that he needed to
it was just cos he cared
and the reason was as simple as that
She ran fast
Hoping he would never catch up
Hoping he would never find out
Solely cos the vanished twinkle
That turned into a cold worried stare
Was just too much to bear
Was it fantasy
Or maybe it was just too hard to face reality
She is thankful yet fearful
and endless thoughts flooded her mind
The road ahead seems a blur
But she knows in Him she can trust
and that shall be her only trust
the only she holds on to
